The girl in the mirror

Smug and content inside my cocoon,
Mewling in my mother's arm ,
I passed my early days of life,
Ignorant of what life was all about,

And den came the whining schoolgirl,
with a shining morning face creeping like a turtle,
Unwilling to break free my cocoon of protection.

Life was never the same,
Where each truth seemed a contradiction,
With every right came along the wrong,
With every moment of joy came tears all along,
with every relation came complication :P ,
with every truth came falsehood,
With every synonym came the antonym hahahhah.

Thoughtless and impatient made my own decisions,
Guided by reason some by logic and some by emotion,
Some right some wrong,
Well yeah we all do that don't we teenage is rebellion all along,
But all along life's journey i Learn't
Learn't that masquerading your sentiment is the best way to move along.

But every morning I look at the mirror we all brush our teeth don't we looking at the mirror,
I ask myself is that me I am looking at or is that another me with a mask on ,
And there i am confused seeing myself in the mirror ,
Oh no I panic i am losing identity ... alas each and every day just loosing Identity.

Am I the girl in the mirror or the girl always pretending Coz society wants me to be someone I am not,
Who is to know ... You ? Me ? Society? Parents? Teachers?
I am me let me be me,
Let the innocence remain,
Let ME BE JUST ME...... :) :) :) 

The Pencil

Whatever the mind can conceive the mind can acheive,
We are all capable of great things in life,
but what we forget is that there is a hand guiding your steps
just as a writer knows what direction to take the pencil to
 so that he can pen down his thoughts,
We can call the hand God and he always guides us according to his will.

While writing we all need to sharpen the pencil(barring a more sophisticated lead pencil),
This makes the pencil suffer a little but after that he is much sharper,
Just as a gem cannot be polished without friction,
Man cannot be perfected without trials....
So suffering has always helped make a better human being :) .

We all use an eraser to rub out any mistakes,
This means correcting something that we did is not necessarily a bad thing,
To err is human and to forgive is divine,
Thus making mistakes ain't a big deal,
We all learn from them.

Now what really matters in a pencil ,
It is not its wooden exterior or is it??
It is indeed the graphite inside,
So always pay attention to what is happening inside you,
Now and a little soul searching ain't bad...
Beauty we all know is Skin deep.

Now a pencil always leaves a mark... a good mark or a bad,
Realize   this soon enough ...Everything we do in life leaves a mark,
Be conscious of that in your every action,
Since action speaks Louder than these words :) :) :) .

Another day, Just passes by,
Another hope just dashes to the ground,
Another Dream just remains a dream.

Just like a scream echoes back,
Just like a wave kisses the sea shore and bounds back.

Just as one unsaid word remains a thought forever,
life is one untold tale that dies without any story....
Its emotions buried deep and forever,

Its liveliness lost in the lonesome desert,
Its cheerfulness lost in its hopelessness,
Its optimism lost in the unending sea,
Its feelings wandering in search of TRUE emotion.

Lost in the matters of 'Triumphs' and 'Defeats',
I forgot what life was all about,.

Lost in the battles of 'I' and 'We',
I forgot what sacrifice was all about.

Lost in 'Character' and 'Reputation',
I forgot what Right and Wrong was,

Lost in attaining and accomplishing Goals,
I forgot what Values are.

Lost in building up others,
I forgot who I am,

You are never lost until you realize life is about finding your real self!!!
